We will all meet again in heaven, I will see you there...you will be missed ....

I have known Steve since I was 15 or 16, you might say we grew up together. I had the biggest crush on him and he was such a godly teenager, and became a godly man. He was always humble and kind. Although I was not there in his last hour, I have no doubt he left this world with the same grace and love that he showed during his short time here, and this world is much better because the Lord loaned him to us. I will think of him often and know someday we will meet again. My candle is in the form of a cross that our youth group drew (actually he and Tim drew) for our bedsheet banner...

I worked with Steve for many years at VCDS and had nothing but respect for him. He was a wonderful person, always positive and easy going. Steve got along with everyone and was a pleasure to work with. My prayers are with his family.

Steve showed the strength that came from God on a daily bases. What a good friend.
