Goldie,
We're sorry to here about Homer's passing away. Homer was always very kind to our family. We will be praying for you. Remember the words of Christ: "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live."

He will always be remembered as you share the stories and the memories of how he lived his life and how very much he meant, may you find comfort...And, throughout this difficult time, may you also know the deep sympathy and concern that is felt for you and all your family. I have fought the fine fight, I have run the course to the finish, I have observed the faith.-2Timothy 4:7. As for me, I will lie down that I may sleep; I shall certainly awake, for Jehovah himself keeps supporting me. -Psalms 3:5

To Goldie and the family of Homer Johnson: please accept our deepest sympathy. He was one of the godliest men we have ever known and is rejoicing in the presence of God as we mourn his death. We valued his friendship and certainly appreciated his kindness towards us while we served at First Baptist Church. We will be praying for you, Goldie, and for your entire family. We will always remember his wonderful prayers and his contribution to the church that we will always love.

Dear Goldie,

We are saddened to hear of Homer's passing, but rejoice that he is present with our Lord. We're thankful for the many years of our friendship. Since our retirement, we have thought often of you folks, and we will forever be thankful for our friendship. Goldie, be assured of our prayers as you now make your way alone until the Lord comes.

Goldie and Family.
So sorry to hear about the passing of Homer. We always enjoyed his coming over at McDonald's to find out what was on Tom's agenda for the day. He would say now you should be like me and be retired and not do nothing if I want. I noticed he was failing the last couple of months. May you cherish all the good times you shared to help you get thru this difficult time. Homer will be missed by all that knew him.........
