Stephen C. Sherwood, 48, of Gallipolis, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the Holzer Medical Center.
He was born September 17, 1961 in Marietta, Georgia, son of Carl and Carol Sherwood, who survive him. Stephen was married to Lorena Watson and she survives him. He was a truck driver and a member of the Gallipolis Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Surviving him are his wife, Lorena Sherwood and two children, Casey and April, all of Gallipolis; his parents, Carl and Carol Sherwood of Columbus; three sisters, Caren (Dave) Smith of Columbus, Vicky (Terry) Crawford of Woodsfield, Ohio and Chris (Kevin) Good of Sebastian, Florida; a brother, Tim (Denise) Sherwood of Canal Winchester; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services will be 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Bob Isaac officiating. Friends may call at the church from 6-8 p.m. prior to the service.
