Daniel H. Scott, 84 of Urbana, Ohio died on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the VA Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
He was born September 11, 1925 in Springfield, Ohio son of the late James O. and Blanche F. Crawford Scott. Daniel married Thelma M. Scarberry on December 31, 1964 in Springfield, Ohio. He was a retired Mechanic and a Member of the D.A.V. #9 in Dayton, Ohio. He was a World War II Army veteran having served in Northern France and Germany during the war as a Military Policeman, earning a Bronze Star.
Surviving are his loving wife Thelma M. Scott of Urbana, Ohio Sons: Anthony Howard Scott of the Philippines, Timothy Lee Scott of Idaho, Lucas Daniel Scott of Lynchburg, VA, Daughters: Deborah Ann Waldher of Kalispel, Montana, Pamela Sue Adcox of Crowley Texas, and Karen Renee Scott of Long Beach CA. Several Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren survive along with two sisters: Lois Scott of Springfield, OH and Mary Richendollar Orlando FL
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents three brothers and four sisters
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Palestine Cemetery conducted by Chaplin Robert Hood Friends may call From 6 until 8 pm on Tuesday July 6, 2010 at the Willis Funeral Home and from 10:00 until 10:30 am on Wednesday at the funeral home. There will be full military graveside services preformed by volunteers of area military groups.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to your local D.A.V.
